Titled ‘Through Iran: Cities, Architecture, Landscapes’ (originally titles as 'Attraverso l’Iran: Citta, Architetture, Paesaggi') was printed and published in a 320 pages volume, including photographs and illustrations.

The illustration book is the result of trips by Italian and Iranian academics and researchers made across Iran since 2010 .

The research trips were led by the Italian architects Professor Alessandra De Cesaris specialized in architectural design and theory as well as professor in Interior Architecture and Exhibition Design Giorgio Di Giorgio and Laura Valeria Ferretti, faculty member of Sapienza University of Rome.

The authors of the book have previously released ‘Iran: Cities Caravanserais, Roads (originally titles as 'Iran: Citta, Percorsi Caravanserragli') in 2014 in cooperation with Iranian architect Hassan Osanloo.

The trips that have brought to light the new book were organized as part of an academic exchange program between Italy and Iran.
